If you’ve never heard of a little town by the name of Foxton in New Zealand, you won’t be alone. It’s a small coastal town situated a couple of hours drive north of Wellington. It’s only real claim to fame until recently was Foxton Fizz, manufacturers of fizzy drinks. More recently it’s become known for it’s extensive collection of murals, definitely worth checking out if you’re ever passing through. Foxton Fizz is still made today, bottled in old fashioned glass bottles, just like they were back in 1918 when the company first opened.
Here is something really great – antique Foxton Fizz boxes from the 1920′s. I love that they’re on coasters. Small $60, large $75 from Zinc+ in NZ.

no comments I want this home! It’s not often I come across a home I could move straight into and not want to change a single thing. This is just fabulous – Balquhidder House, home to the Culy family in sunny Napier, New Zealand. I used to walk past it when I lived in Napier and wish it was mine, now it’s even better.
Featured in the latest issue of NZ House and Garden, you can check out more pictures here.

no comments Sorry for the lack of posting, we’re in the process of moving, but I hope to be up and running by early next week. It’s all very exciting albeit hectic, the new place is great and we’re starting to get settled in. Back soon! no comments
I’ve been coveting this book for a while now, and I finally decided to buy it. It just turned up today, and it is so beautiful, I think it deserves it’s own special place somewhere, but not on my coffee table where little smudgy fingers can get hold of it!
