This Week

I am…

…loving these cute paper lamps from Rie Elise Larsen

Actually, I’m really in love with their entire collection.  Here’s a little more eye candy…

…inspired by Geninne’s Art Blog - beautiful hand-crafted stamps that you can make yourself.  Seriously. There is a great video tutorial to show you how.

…making something tasty… I’m not sure what yet, but I’ll be sure to share it with you on Tuesday:)

…imagining that I’m enjoying these tasty Summery treats.  Sadly I will have to settle for imagining them as we have no local gelateria (boo) or store that sells macaron’s (which I have still not tasted – boo hoo), and I’ll be too busy to make them because I’ll be making my (as yet) unestablished culinery creation.  Now that was a mouthful.

In the Post

My order from Ink & Spindle arrived yesterday and I am really, really excited to get busy with this gorgeous fabric.  I can’t tell you what I’m making though (sorry!) it is a Christmas surprise for someone, you’ll all just have to wait!

The fabric is Birch Forest in Robins Egg and Plain Basecloth from the Ink & Spindle online store.  The small ceramic tile is part of a set of four – a gift from my sister, and is by New Zealand artist Jo Luping.  The flower is from the local florist.
