I am…
…loving this colour combo – I don’t have much in the way of pastels at home, I”m more of a grey/blue/green, earthy-beachy sort of a girl (generally), I blame Spring, it’s totally winning me over

…inspired by Flights of Fancy. I recently stumbled onto Gia’s blog while looking for ideas for 6 Weeks of Spring Colour. This is a really beautiful site, full of inspiring images all colour themed with some really amazing (and unique) combinations. As you’ll see if you pop by and visit, Gia is a super talented stationary designer, running (along with her blog) Betsy White Stationery Boutique, you can also find some really lovely free downloads.

…looking forward to spending some time with my husband. He has worked the last four weekends and we have missed him. Lots. Every day Noah says “Daddy’s gone off-fa work now?” and I’m glad it’s just a temporary thing.
What do you have planned for this weekend? Are you celebrating Halloween? Being Kiwi’s, we traditionally don’t, but I’ve noticed it is gaining popularity here in Australia. Last year the Trick or Treaters completely cleaned us out of chocolate bars. This year we’ll be ready. Bring it on.

Hello, I hope your week is going well? Mine? It’s going. I’m glad. I’m really looking forward to the weekend ; )
I am just in the process of putting together a little FAQ page, as I’ve had a few people approach me and ask questions about this or that and I thought this would be a nice quick way to find some of the answers you might be looking for. Most of the queries are photography related, but if you have any burning questions you are dying to ask… ask away, my friends! I will do my best to answer them for you.
Enjoy your week!

I adore Maggie Beer. Whenever I think of planning a trip to South Australia, visiting her Farm Shop is one of the first things that comes to mind. Has anyone been?
I can imagine coming home loaded up with enough verjuice, jams, fruit pastes and sauces to see me through the next decade! I’m not generally very star-struck by celebrities but I think if I ever met Maggie, I would be hard pressed not to give her a big hug and turn into a babbling mess. If she could make out something of my babble, there would bound to be thanks for this gorgeous recipe tucked in there somewhere.
If you are partial to duck, I implore you to try this recipe. It is one of the finest things I’ve ever tasted. And it’s so, so easy.
