I love all the wrapping paper and decoration you do on your Christmas gift! I would hate to undo the wrapping if I get a gift like that. It looks too pretty to open! I love the rain deer decor on the gift. I think you are a talented photographer yourself. I second Amanda about your profession. You’re very creative and artistic! I think it must be time to stop and say ‘thank you’ to everyone (that’s every one of you!) who reads Two Little Dicky Birds, and finds the time to stop by and leave me such lovely comments. You are such a wonderful, supportive bunch and I always feel very encouraged by your kind words! So, Thank You!

I’d also like to thank Thetis at one of my favourite blogs Little Sooti and Kristy and Mina at Chic Mother and Baby, both of whom recently featured Noah’s birthday party. Thank you!

Six Weeks of Spring Colour: A Nod to Winter

We had a cold snap this week. It wasn’t a particularly long one, or even that cold really, but we did throw on jumpers and I plugged the gas heater back in, which seemed a little strange when we had just cranked up the air conditioner only two days prior. It was a little reminder that, although we are well into Spring, Winter is still breathing its frosty breath in our direction. So this week is a combination of seasons. The cold, frostiness of Winter meets the birth of Spring. Enjoy!

Hi Jenn,

The top fabric is by Yardage Design, the middle one is by Kristen Doran called Peacock Garden and it’s on sale at Modern Retro Textiles, and bottom one is a plain linen that I purchased at Duckcloth.
