Small People Style

Some sweet little favourites of mine via Pinterest.

Hello from sunny New Zealand.  Aotearoa is turning on some pretty fabulous weather here at the moment.  I haven’t seen a November like this here for a really long time, let’s hope it lasts!

We’ve had a great time here so far, catching up with family and friends and getting in some shopping and party planning.  Sam turns one on Wednesday (yes, a whole year already) and I’m planning a party to celebrate.  It won’t be for a couple of weeks, but I’m guessing he probably won’t mind too much:)

I hope you are well and I’m sorry I’m not able to sit down and catch up on all your news, just know that I haven’t forgotten you and think of you all often!

Things to do on a rainy day #65: Get Your Groove On

Our NZ holiday begins…

Wow, I don’t know if I’ve ever been quite so pleased to be home – that was some trip!  Overall, I’ll give it a 7 out of 10, all things considered, but it’s not something I would want to be doing too often. Yikes…

The boys are settling in well, and their Grandparents are (of course) very excited to have them here.  The weather has been lovely, and although it is drizzling today, it makes for a nice change from our constant sunny days in Western Australia and I don’t mind one bit.  We made the most of the first couple of sunny days by getting out and about in my Mum’s beautiful garden…

A :) Birthday

How was your weekend?  Ours was a flurry of packing and last-minute organising, and birthday celebrating (me, this time).

We are almost ready to go now, I’m excited but a little lot apprehensive about flying by myself with two little people.  Eeek!  I’ve packed lots of toys and snacks and a portable DVD player so hopefully that keeps Noah occupied.  Any tips for travelling with babies and toddlers?

PS.  If you click on the photo it will take you to a very sweet birthday celebration.  I love the ice cream cone candles – cool hey?
